Who We Are Crystal Clean Air began in 1977 selling and servicing Smokeeter® Air Cleaners to bars, bowling alleys and fraternal organizations in southeastern Pennsylvania and northern Delaware to combat tobacco smoke. This equipment, manufactured by United Air Specialists continues to be a major part of the Company's business. In addition to the markets previously mentioned, products have been added to service the clean air requirements of body shops, print shops, fire stations, truck and auto maintenance facilities, vocational schools, the home, and other airborne contaminants. Of particular note was the entrance into the fire vehicle diesel exhaust market in 1997. Since that time, over 50 systems have been installed that keep the environment within the fire stations clear. In 1999, the Company added Clean Air Concepts' MagneGrip™ 21st century magnetic nozzle assembly to its offerings. The nozzle used in conjunction with a Sliding Balancer Hose Drop System removes diesel fumes in firehouses with an air-tight connection but requires no air-pressure or electrical support. This makes the system more efficient, with less maintenance, and less cost than competitive products. For those who desire a pneumatic hose drop system, the Company offers the HazVent Diesel Exhaust System.
